Information we collect

We only ask for the information we need in order to respond to an enquiry or provide a quotation.

  • Contact details you submit: name, business email address, telephone number and company name.
  • Enquiry details: the service you are interested in and the message you send us.
  • Consent record: confirmation that you are happy for us to contact you about your enquiry.
  • Technical and attribution data: the page the enquiry came from, referring website, campaign parameters, browser user agent and an anonymised request identifier used to prevent spam and abuse.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and discuss suitable solutions.
  • To provide ongoing account management and support where you become a customer.
  • To protect our forms from automated abuse, spam and repeated submissions.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages and channels generate enquiries so we can improve the website.

Lawful basis

Where you submit an enquiry we rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to a business request. Where you become a customer we process data to perform our contract with you and to meet our legal obligations.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share the information needed to obtain a quotation or provision a service with the relevant network, carrier or technology provider. We also use trusted service providers for website hosting, data storage and email, who process data on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet our business and legal record-keeping requirements. Anonymised spam-prevention records are retained for a short period only.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time.

  • To exercise any right, email info@dmvcomms.com.
  • If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
